Sectionned block positionning

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to be able to detect what section of a block is right-cllick to place a block. 

I'd like to add a "positioning" criteria to the direction to be able to place a small block like "west, middle right"

I see the separetion like a crafting grid (▢  ▢  ▢), but could work with five cells ((each corner and the middle).

Let me know if you know how to do this, or some ideas in this direction.
