💖 Future plans:
We aim to release an update every week, with the goal of adding every item before the next summer. Once all items are completed, we plan to port this mod to Fabric. Additionally, an official wiki will be released soon.
(video showcase soon...)
❇️ Info
Hey! Welcome to another update of Placeables! This update DOESN'T add any new items, but it's still one of the biggest updates yet. This update completely changes the controls of the mod! So before you jump into the game, I recommend reading the new controls.
The main change, however, is that the items now have a working rotation system, so there is no need to rotate them after you place the block. However, the old rotation system is still available for some blocks.
⚒️ Controls
- Shift + Right-click to place down an item.
- Shift + Right-click on an item rotates it. (You can't rotate food items using this method!)
- Right-clicking on an item drops it. (Different with food items!)
- If an item is stackable, right-clicking on an already placed item with the same item in hand will stack them.
- Right-click on a food item to eat it.
- Shift + Right-click on a food item drops it on the ground.
I know it may seem complicated, but it's really not. It's mostly the same as before. The only significant change is the new rotation system and now every food item being edible.
💎 Changes
- Fixed the textures of Music discs. Some have been completely remade.
- Every food item is now edible! I've tried to remake them as close as possible to normal vanilla items. For example, Raw Chicken has a 30% chance to give you Hunger for 30 seconds or Milk bucket removes every effect from the player.
- Remade the rotation system. Due to many people not reading the controls listed on the mod page, leading to
being unable to rotate items, I've decided to finally add a standard block rotation.
🏆Special thanks!

❓What next
I have a big announcement to make. Although I know that many people may not read this changelog, I wanted to inform you that a Fabric port will be released within the next 2 months. Updates for Forge will be paused until Fabric support is completed. This decision was made in response to the high demand from players who want to use Placeables on Fabric.
Congratulations for winning Mod of the Week :)
There are a few quirks when placing these items though, namely, the item blocks seem to replace the block above the block you are shift right clicking, which can lead to some unexpected item loss when playing in survival, but I assume this will be polished in a future update :)
Your mod was also promoted on our official subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/MCreator/) and Twitter page (https://twitter.com/PyloDEV).
You should highly consider uploading this mod to modrinth or curseforge! Maybe both. You would get a lot of downloads!
