This Generator is built over the old official generator, but this one is NOT official, and is not being maintained by the MCreator Team. This is a fork of the original forge 1.12.2 plugin, in the future this plugin will (slowly) add the features that were not added to 1.12.2 during the MCreator updates via plugin (if they can be supported), the plugin will also be available in the future for MCreator 2021.2.

Why should i use this generator?

If you are using this version of minecraft, you will have many more features than those present in MCreator 2020.2, the generator will have full support so if there are any bugs they will be fixed etc. (unlike 2020.2 which is no longer supported). The generator will also have a lot of backports (from new versions of MCreator to this one) regarding bug fixes on the generator. If you want to export your mod for multiple versions this generator is for you!

I dont know why but the loot tables are not working for Vanilla blocks.
Ex: is gold ore. I changed it to drop the raw ore but it was not working. I looked at the loot table and it was put in correctly. but seems to not be working? can you look into it?

is the "source entity" bug still present in this generator? and is it compatible with the old plugin or will i have to remade the entire mod? i don't mind remaking tbh as long as that one bug is fixed

it's compatible, but I've never heard of the source entity bug

it's like "source entity" doesn't work and while compiling the project it crashes because the program can't register it, i only seen it on newest 1.12.2, knowing MC it could even be a typo lol

but it's not a big deal honestly i found multiple ways to replace it using default minecraft commands

just use custom code for the lines requiring source entity. In 1.12.2 API versions, the source entity is usually variable "entity2" of an event.

that is such a stupid argument, i never seen any other fandom use it because it's just plain bad, people still use old programs and play old games, this is the one reason i hate minecraft community 😮‍💨
